About River of Life

Statement of Faith

The Scriptures Inspired

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verballyinspired of

God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule

of faith and conduct.

The One True God

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternallyself-existent "I AM,"

the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. Hehas

further revealed Himself as embodying the principles ofrelationship and

association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Salvation of Man

Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of JesusChrist the

Son of God. Conditions to Salvation Salvation is received through

repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Bythe

washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, beingjustified by

grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to thehope

of eternal life.

The Holy Spirit

Lives in each believer today; that He brings life to the spiritualpart of man

when a person receives Jesus into their life, and that the"Baptism of the Holy

Spirit" is a separate event from salvation that empowers thebeliever for

effective service of God. (Acts 1:8, 19:1-7)

Jesus is coming back to earth to judge those living and dead andthat those

who do not have a personal relationship with Him will be eternallyseparate

from God, and those who have entrusted their lives to Him willspend eternity

with Him. (Matthew 24)

Divine Healing

Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance fromsickness is

provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of allbelievers.

The New Heavens and the New Earth

"We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a newearth

wherein dwelled righteousness."

Visions and Goals

The Lord has given us a great vision for this community. Thevision we have

cannot be contained within four walls, just like the sea cannot be

contained. In the natural, we live in a dry and thirsty land. Butthe Lord has

said that He is going to make rivers of life gush forth in themiddle of the

wilderness. We believe that as we summit to the will of the Lordfor our

lives, His glory will be seen in us and our cities and willtransform one family

at a time.

Our goal is that every member of River of Life will know that heor she hear

the call of God and equip with spiritual gifts. That everyone willoperate in

those gifts and calling so the River will flow where ever they go.

The priority of your relationship with the Lord.

We are each responsible for our personal relationship with theLord and we

each have 24 hours a day! As you commit to fellowship here atRiver of Life,

please commit yourself even more so to a daily time with the Lord,

sometimes called a "Quiet Time". As His church, we allmust make time for

Him, each and every one!

"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link" As eachmember of our church

grows in their relationship with the Lord by spending time alonewith Him

daily, the impact we'll have on the area we are called to ministerto will be

powerful! Everything flows from our personal time with the Lord.Don't let

the good and important things crowd out the best and mostimportant

As Psalm 27:4 says, "One thing I ask of the Lord, this iswhat I seek that I

may dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of my life, togaze upon the

beauty of the Lord, and to seek Him in His temple" KingDavid, who wrote

it, said ONE thing I ask, not a hundred things I dabble at ...keep your

priorities right!
